HAMISH MARISSEN-CLARK is a playwright, lyricist, director, and actor who loves art that could only possibly exist in a theatre. The theatre is one of the only places where we listen to real people in real time and space, and to Hamish, this grants the form a unique ability to confront, console, and genuinely surprise an audience.
Hamish considers Sondheim, Jordan Tannahill, Daniel Fish, Peter Jorgensen, Chekhov, Sandra Ferens, Michael R. Jackson, Carolina Bianchi, and Brent Carver some of his most significant inspirations.
