about

HAMISH MARISSEN-CLARK is an actor, theatre director, lyricist, and writer whose work is characterized by its sardonic, sometimes irrational undertones. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre from Northwestern University, where he was also in the Music Theatre Certificate Program and the Creating the Musical module. In 2018, he was the national winner of Poetry in Voice. More on that here.

Hamish considers Jordan Tannahill, Michael R. Jackson, Stephen Sondheim, Anton Chekhov, Daniel Fish, Peter Jorgensen, Sandra Ferens, and Brent Carver to be some of his biggest theatrical inspirations. As an actor, Hamish is represented by Myrna Jacoby, T.C. Lind, and Patrick Keane at MJ Management.

He lives in New York.
