HAMISH MARISSEN-CLARK is an playwright, lyricist, actor, and theatre director whose work is characterized by its complex, sardonic undertones. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre from NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, where he was in the Music Theatre Certificate Program and the Creating the Musical module, and where he also received what is historically known as the Department Award for Excellence in Acting. In 2018, Hamish was the national first-place winner of Poetry in Voice. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild

Hamish considers Jordan Tannahill, Stephen Sondheim, Michael R. Jackson, Daniel Fish, Peter JorgensenAnton Chekhov, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Sandra Ferens, and Brent Carver to be some of his biggest theatrical inspirations. As an actor, Hamish is represented by Myrna Jacoby, T.C. Lind, and Patrick Keane at MJ Management
